I’ve never been much of a bottled water freak, so I drank decaffeinated coffee from my Pact Coffee subscription for the entirety of my pregnancy, and throughout breastfeeding, to which I am still nursing into my eleventh month.
Most decaffeinated coffees in the supermarkets are dry and tasteless, but the decaffeinated Lor is quite nice. Anyhow, when you buy a Pact Coffee subscription for decaffeinated coffee, there are only a few options, but the coffee is really delicious. We still drink raw milk and it’s unhomogenised too so the cream is separated with the liquid and it makes for a delicious cup of coffee. How to start a Pact Coffee Subscription
- Firstly, click through to this page, which will start up your coffee subscription.
- Choose ‘wholebean’, ‘ground’ or ‘pods’. Choose ground if you prefer your coffee already ready to percolate, or if you have your own coffee grinder choose wholebean. Click next.
- Choose regular or decaf. Regular will offer far more options than decaf, but pregnant and nursing mothers don’t have much option but to drink decaffeinated coffee.
- Choose how you brew your coffee. The options provided are V60, chemex, stove top, aeropress, cafetiere, espresso machine, bean to cup or cold brew. I tried both a stove top and cafetiere, and prefer cafetiere for its simplicity. There are a great variety of cafetieres on the market. The stainless steels ones keep coffee hot for up to an hour. Click next.
- You’ll be offered a coffee with its price, normally £8.95. I joined when Pact Coffee was a very young company so I still pay only £7.95 per bag. Click next.
- Choose how often you want your coffee delivered, between 2 and 60 days. I get a delivery every fortnight and I have enough for a brew everyday, plus an additional coffee if I choose to. Click continue to checkout.
- Add your details for sign up, name, email, address, etc.

- You’ll normally receive your coffee within 24 hours.

- Go through verification, etc.
