I’ve recently placed my last order with Hotel Chocolat. I prefer a box of Belgian Seashells, but my friend likes them and I often get them her for birthdays and Christmas, and I like to say thank you to our local farm and our regular milk delivery driver. However, it seems that Hotel Chocolat no longer use Royal Mail, but Amazon delivery. We have been in all day, and I received a text message telling me that the order had been delivered to our safe place near the front door. I look outside and it’s dark, but nothing! I check the link on the text message, and there is no picture or nothing.
I then click on the link sent previously telling me that my order is on the way. The lazy delivery driver had put it in our green dustbin outside.
I’ve been reading the reviews on Trustpilot and many many customers are tired of the laziness from the Amazon delivery drivers never knocking on their door, or leaving packages outside in the rain. I mean it’s not like Hotel Chocolat are offering free delivery. WE THE CUSTOMERS pay for our delivery, and I’m not having food gift orders delivered to a bloody dustbin. It’s disgraceful service.
And when I chose to pay via PayPal, I got charged a total of three times and Hotel Chocolat have no care in the world and are saying they only got one payment, but it was deducted immediately from my bank account, and three or four days later, it’s still not refunded. Obviously this company does not care about its existing customers. Without customers, they are non existent.
So, goodbye forever, Hotel Chocolat!
