charlotte tilbury magic cream

I received a 1 ml sample of Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream with my pinkgasm purchase last year, and have only just tried it. While it makes my skin look healthy, my first impression is that it is rather dry and it smells bad. I took a look at the price on the Charlotte Tilbury website. Wowsers! Starting from £52 (30ml) for a chemically scented face cream that they call magic.

They also sent a sample of the Collagen Superfusion Facial Oil, which they say is applied to the face after the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream. Yes, it all looks good on the skin, but that didn’t smell too good either.

I also hate the Charlotte Tilbury website. Its layout is horrible, and when you are on a product page, they try to encourage you to invest in a skincare duo, to which you have to click the X to rid. It’s so annoying. Also, the word darling is used a lot. I’m sticking with the skincare at Tropic Skincare and the lip products at Beauty Pie.
