In the Psalms 56:8 in the Holy Bible, David speaks of God putting his tears in a bottle.
Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book? – Psalms 56:8
No doubt about it, tears are precious to God. Even in Isaiah 38:5, because of tears 15 years was added unto Hezekiah’s life.
Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the Lord, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years – Isaiah 38:5
Do not underestimate the power of tears. Tears are precious to the Lord God, and if David’s tears were put into a bottle, just imagine what power those tears have in God’s mercy toward us even here today.
